Story
The history of Omed e.V. goes back to the year 2001. The association was founded by Petra and David Majed, who are still members of the association. In the meantime, Omed has developed into a reliable partner for orphanages, children’s homes and disadvantaged people worldwide. The annual donations have now grown to 5-digit amounts and are the basis of our altruistic actions.
We are proud having cooperation from many members of CIM – Center for International Migration. This affinity has resulted in remarkable success. A number of members and sponsors of Omed have gained experience and pertinent international context and insights. They recognize the importance of supporting girls and young women, especially in Afghanistan and India. This inspires our dedicated work at Omed e.V.
Today Omed e.V. is supported by people from many nations, people often with multicultural backgrounds and diverse experiences abroad, but always with the desire to give hope, participation and dignity.
